Commercial disclosure
How affiliate links work.
Sir Compare may receive a commission when a reader buys through an affiliate link, at no additional cost caused by our link.
The site links to retailer pages and those links may be affiliate links. A link does not imply an approved application or an existing commercial agreement: joining a programme depends on the operator's own assessment.
Recognisable links
Commercial links carry a disclosure and are qualified for search engines. Any sponsored placement will be recognisable and kept separate from the rankings.
Commissions do not decide the scores
The scoring criteria do not depend on commissions. A commercial link is not a product test and not a guarantee of the result.
Rules in your country
Applicable rules: Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and the CAP Code (ASA). Under these rules a commercial relationship, such as an affiliate commission, must not be hidden: we flag it next to the links and on this page. Commissions never change the scores: a deterministic algorithm calculates them.
